Bowa remaining with Dodgers
River Avenue Blues —
I wasn’t expecting him to come back anyway, but at least now it’s official: Larry Bowa isn’t coming back to coach third. Joe Torre’s entire staff will remain in LA, so even the possibility of a Donnie Baseball return goes out the window. Another potential third base coach also came off the market today: Mike “Leggo my Eggo” Gallego will coach third for the A’s. I think the Yanks should just slide Tony Pena over to third and get a guy like Luis Sojo to coach first, but what do I know.

Bowa to remain with Dodgers
Scott Proctor's Arm - A New York Yankees Blog —
Hello, everybody. It's been a couple of days, but I've been busy and there hasn't been much to talk about. I figured I'd break my silence to talk about...the third base coach vacancy. It would have been nice to see Bowa back with the Yankees to hopefully give Robinson Cano the kick in the butt he needs. The next best choice would be Willie Randolph, but I doubt that will happen. ...
