The signing of Gould, first reported by Jon Weisman of Dodger Thoughts earlier today, indicates a shift from years past, as the Dodgers failed to sign high-talent, lower-picks Alex White in 2006 (5th round pick who went to college instead and was drafted #15 overall in the 2009 draft) and Kyle Blair in 2007.
The Dodgers have now signed each of their first 11 picks from the first ten rounds of the 2009 draft.
