Rafael Furcal This one really is a shame to me. After a huge start, Rafael Furcal has been out of action since May 6, will be out for at least another 8 weeks, possibly the rest of the year, according to Kevin Baxter of the Los Angeles Times (click here for the article). Furcal was forced to undergo a microdisectomy, which “involves the removal of a small portion of the bone over the nerve root to relieve pressure”.
