Don't sleep on Brandt Snedeker, the Eli Manning of the Masters, after first round 69: Second to Tiger Sunday? Links2
Last year’s PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Brandt Snedeker is only one shot back at the Masters after round one and he could be tied for the lead if he hadn’t recorded his first bogey of the day on 18. While you can expect most of the first round surprises to fade away (Dustin Rose for the second straight year no doubt), don’t be surprised if Snedeker’s still in the hunt ... [link]

Will Masters explode into an orgy of Flesch? Or will radical lefty overthrow Augusta?
Published 4/12/2008 by William K. Wolfrum at William K. Wolfrum

The Masters: Will an American Idol emerge, or will Green Jacket travel abroad?
Published 4/13/2008 by William K. Wolfrum at William K. Wolfrum
... golf fans have to be pleased. South African Trevor Immelman takes a two-shot lead into the final round over Brandt Snedeker, with whom he’ll play with Round Four. Will we see a new American Idol in Snedeker or Steve Flesch? Or will we see the Green Jacket make its way abroad with ...

Immelman hasn't yet experienced how, for the leaders, the atmosphere changes at Augusta on weekends. The pressure can be suffocating. Brandt Snedeker, a stroke off the lead, could also have trouble today. I'm not ...
