Get Well Soon, Doug
Published 3/29/2008 by Sooze at Babes Love Baseball
... 32-year-old lefty struggled in his exhibition start against Colorado Friday night, surrendering back-to-back-to-back longballs in the second inning. Overall, he gave up eight runs on nine hits, striking out five. Weird! I don't know about you guys, but if I was just diagnosed with cancer, I'm not sure how well I'd pitch, either. Davis is expected to have surgery on April 10th, but the club has no idea when they'll see him pitch next. [AP] | [AZ Snakepit] | [Baseball Digest Daily]
