Padres beat deadline for picks
FriarBall — Another quick update but I thought it was worth pointing out that our first two draft picks finally signed as the deadline approached. Both Allan Dykstra and James Darnell are now signed according to Paul DePodesta and his blog. Hopefully the hip thing with Dykstra will no longer be an issue.
