The Dagger — For the second year in a row, ESPN has decided to broadcast live Midnight Madness action on affiliate network ESPNU. This is a good idea, because what else is on at midnight on a Friday night, right? There might be some good Aqua Teen reruns, but that's about it. ESPNU will be covering the evening by jumping back and forth between nine schools. Those schools are: Kansas, Michigan State, North Carolina, Kentucky, Duke, Washington, Georgetown, Connecticut and North Dakota State, the only mid-major and the only team not ranked somewhere near a preseason top 25.
