THE HOUSE - The Pacers proved once again why they need Mike Dunleavy on Friday.
The Miami Heat forced the Pacers to play a slower tempo and they made it difficult for them to get open shots.
The Pacers aren't a team built on being able to create off the dribble (they're actually not built ...

Cap & Trade – Third Year Options picked up on Rush, Hibbert
Eight Points, Nine Seconds —
From Mike Wells this morning:
The Pacers have turned in the paperwork to pick up the third-year option on Rush and Hibbert’s contracts.
This is no surprise, and I had noted their contract amounts in an earlier Cap & Trade.
Hibbert has shown some improvement over last year, averaging 7 points and just over 7 boards in his first two games. However, he’s only shooting 44% and has looked very slow. Fouling continues to limit his minutes and effectiveness, as he’s getting whistled for just under 7 fouls ...

HoopsHype.com reports that Hibbert's contract option will pay him $1.69 million, while Rush will earn $2.07 million. Both have started the first two games of the year. ...
