As a pair of Temple students, Aaron and I are thrilled to hear that the Eagles have signed DT/FB and former Owl Dan Klecko to a one-year deal. Klecko played for the Indianapolis Colts last season and most recently played tackle, but the Birds will likely use his services as a fullback after parting ways with Thomas Tapeh recently.

Dan Klecko Signs with Eagles to play Fullback

The Eagles signed former Colts and Patriots defensive lineman Dan Klecko to a one-year contract. Klecko is a local guy, having grown up in Delaware Valley and gone to Temple. Klecko has primarily played defensive tackle in the NFL, but the Eagles plan to convert him to a fullback, a position he occasionally played for the Colts during their Super Bowl run.
