In a move to free up more cap space, the Eagles will cut defensive end Jevon Kearse. NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Kearse was offered a pay cut by the Eagles, which he refused, so the Eagles will release the 9 year veteran and his hefty 6.46 million dollar salary. Kearse's production has declined over the years as he has struggled with injuries.

It has been a busy weekend for the Eagles. One player is arrested while another is just moments away from getting his walking papers. In news that went unnoticed yesterday, the day of the Freak-free Eagles is upon us. According to NFL Network’s Adam Schefter, the Eagles are going to release Jevon Kearse.
