Lions sign free agent TE Courtney Anderson
mlive.com 9/26/2007 — The Detroit Lions signed free agent tight end Courtney Anderson and waived tight end Rudy Sylvan on Monday.
Sylvan was promoted from Detroit's practice squad for Sunday's 56-21 loss to Philadelphia after Dan Campbell was placed on injured reserve with an elbow injury.
Anderson had 25 catches for 285 yards and two touchdowns last season with Oakland.
