Who were those guys in Blue and Yellow today? It certianly wasn't the same Eagles offense that showed up in weeks one & two. They hang 56 on the Lions, set a team record for the most points in a half, didn't punt until the 3rd quarter, and racked up 536 yards of total offense. Lions coach Rod Marinelli said wide receiver Calvin Johnson suffered a bruised lower back in Sunday’s 56-21 loss to the Eagles. But Marinelli didn’t provide details. More information is expected Monday. Johnson, the second overall pick in this year’s draft, suffered the injury making an amazing catch in the second quarter.

The superstitious Eagles fan might chalk up the Eagles amazing rout of the Detroit Lions on Sunday to the fact that they were wearing different uniforms. The tactical/superstitious Eagles fan might chalk the win up to confusion by the Lions, as they were blinded by the colors of the throwback uniforms, or perhaps, the Lions were confused because they thought they were playing a college team?
