May 19 --- Soccer Amercia: With its 5-1 rout at FC Dallas, the Los Angeles Galaxy upped its scoring total to a league high 19 goals (in eight games). The Galaxy was already ahead 4-1 when Dallas went a man down with the ejection of Adrian Serioux for a foul on David Beckham, who notched his fifth assist of the season in the game, which drew a standing-room-only crowd of 22,331 in Frisco, TX.

(from MVN Soccer) MLS attendances on average rival NBA and NHL. Since MLS is outdoors and NBA and NHL are inside, weather is going to be a factor in some instances. Good attendances in record heat (LA) and damp (Chicago, NJ) this weekend. Overall average this season is up from last year, with more sell-outs, too. Having so many sell-outs so early in the season is truly a great sign for summer.
