Orlando Hernandez threw a three inning, 60-pitch simulated game yesterday in Port St. Lucie and reportedly look pretty good. In an effort to prevent pain from a bunion in his right foot, El Duque now incorporates a sleeker, simpler windup and delivery that no longer includes his patented leg kick. And as a result, Adam Rubin of the New York Daily News quotes El Duque as being ready for the next step : "I think I'm ready to throw in a game for three or four innings," El Duque pronounced after the controlled outing... ...An upbeat El Duque even mentioned wanting to start 30 games ...
