Dodger Thoughts Connected to Baseball Blog Bombshell
Published 2/6/2008 by Orel at Sons of Steve Garvey
From Jon:
So, I've interviewed Michael Schur, the Emmy-winning writer of The Office (and also the man who plays Mose). And I've been critiqued by Ken Tremendous, the razor-sharp mind behind Firejoemorgan.com.
Little did I know they were the same person.
It's blowing my mind, man.
As bummed as I was to become an FJM target ... now I have to ask, when does the intelligence behind that site find a TV audience?
Kobe Bryant: Happy as a clam
Published 2/6/2008 by PostmanR at The Postmen // A Sports Blog // Chicago, IL.
While some folks have completely ripped the Shaq to Phoenix deal — let’s watch it in action first, friends — Kobe Bryant seems quite peachy about Pau Gasol and his scraggly beard landing in L.A.
Hey, I only scored six points? Hey, my hand is all jacked up? I don’t care, lady … THERE IS A GOD.
Sidenote: Ken Tremendous revealed! He writes for “The Office” and played Dwight’s cousin Mose in that episode where Jim and Pam spend the ...

Layin' Down The Law: Parkes Edition
Published 2/7/2008 by Parkes at Drunk Jays Fans
... While I normally leave the Keith Law verbal hand jobs to Stoeten, who's much better suited for such activity (left-handed and rides side saddle if you know what I mean), it's Thursday afternoon and I find myself jonesing for yet another edition of Keith Law's weekly ESPN online chat. Unfortunately, this week, Law is actually leading his life instead of answering questions from the type of people who get really excited by such things as the bloggers at Fire Joe Morgan revealing their identity. ...

... recently revealed their true identities and it turns out that the man who goes by the pseudonym Ken Tremendous is actually Michael Schur. That name didn't sound familiar to me, but some quick Googling revealed that he formerly wrote for Saturday Night Live and currently writes for The Office. That's ...
Fire Joe Morgan Gives Us A Peak Behind The Curtain
Published 2/8/2008 by GC at Can't Stop The Bleeding
A couple of days prior to Ken Tremendous’ stunning evisceration of the Philadelphia Daily News’ Rich Hoffman, the talented quartet behind Fire Joe Morgan, perhaps forgetting the lessons learned by Kiss’ “Lick It Up”, revealed their true identities to the world.
1. We figured whoever reads this site has a right to know who’s writing it.
2. The people we make fun of have a right to face their accusers.
3. We don’t want anyone to be able to write off what we say as the un-credited ramblings of people too ...
Daily Laters: Friday

Friday afternoon.
Praise Jebus.
If you’ve mentally cashed in the chips for the week, yet still sit there, on the clock, waiting for the bell…well…we feel your pain.
Hopefully these links will help pass the time.
Holy shit. Ken Tremendous is Dwight Schrute’s cousin. [FJM]
Holy f’ing facial. Wade and Carney cack on each other’s faces. That may have come out wrong. [FanHouse]

... writers on the site feel as though it will inevitably cycle the other way again, so we’re going into anonymity,” said site founder Josh Bacott. “Look at KISS. They made a big deal out of removing their face paint but really they were much cooler with the paint. We’re essentially putting on our face paint.”
In recent months, several previously unknown bloggers have staged dramatic reveals of their true identity including the proprietors of TheBigLead.com and FireJoeMorgan.com. Writers from both sites had written under aliases in the past. ...
Blogging with the Enemy: Questions for the KC Star's Sam Mellinger
Published 3/27/2008 by Ian Casselberry at Bless You Boys
... Who better to talk to about the Kansas City Royals than the Kansas City Star's resident baseball blogger, Sam Mellinger?
As his bio states, Mellinger has been writing at the Star since 2000 and been covering the Royals since 2006. He began Ball Star almost two months ago, and has been posting must-read stuff ever since. (Highlights include the first interview with Michael Schur after he outed himself as Fire Joe Morgan's Ken Tremendous, getting Brian ...
