Hidden Gem- Mulder....
Mets Fever — Mark Mulder is a 31 y/o left handed, starting pitcher who has compiled a record of 103-60 with a 4.13 ERA in eight seasons. He a two time All-Star and in seven post-season starts he has a record of 3-4 with an ERA of 2.34, in 2006 received a World Series ring but was on the DL. It's a tale of two careers for Mulder, from 2000-2005 he had a record of 97-57 with an ERA at approx. 3.50. But in 2006 he only made 17 starts with a record of 6-7 and an ERA 7.14 before he under went rotator cuff surgery. The next two seasons were a complete wash as he struggled with shoulder problems, in those two seasons he appeared in six games going 0-3 with an 11 ERA. The Cards declined his option making him a free agent. The Boston Globe did a piece on him in December marking his progress. ...
