And, actually, this is really So Taguchi’s reign of terror — strangely, he’s 4 for 7 with a double. That probably gets him a start, huh? P-Dub’s 2 for 5, and since Maholm’s a lefty and Duncan’s 0 for 2 against him, that probably means that Preston gets the start on Wednesday, too. Yady, Skip, and Miles are a collective 0 for 7. Bennett’s 1 for 3, so maybe this is a day-game-after-a-night-game start for Gary, too. If we take the first two games of the series, I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see one of TLR’s patented scrub lineups — rest the regulars, get the bench useful playing time, that sort of thing.
