... Friday, April 27, 2007 (4/27/2007 03:12:00 PM) - Al Currently, I am embarrassed by the fact Gary Thorne is allowed to be employed by a MLB team. Taking something "overheard" and then spinning it to simply make himself seem "in the know" is simply 100% untruthful. Tell me, how does a backup catcher say "We got a lot of publicity from that" and an announcer later says, "He told me it was paint". Seriously. Curt Schilling sounds rather unpleasant about the whole thing, and I hope someone (the Orioles?) donates $1M and makes a wholehearted apology. These conspiracies that are 100% ignorance are so painfully stupid, I cannot believe they keep getting attention...but they do, nonstop.
