I was excited at the prospect of having Ricky Williams back on the Miami Dolphins this season as Ronnie Brown has yet to prove he can handle a full seasons load and Ricky is in top condition and ready to contribute. Various reports have said his locker has been cleaned out and made room for newly draft running back Lorenzo Booker, who many feel was drafted to take Ricky Williams place. Report is coming out this morning from ESPN’s Chris Mortensen that Ricky failed a drug test in April and will not eligible for reinstatement until September. From the ESPN report…

ESPN.com is reporting that Ricky Williams has tested positive for marijuana in an April test and will not be eligibile for reinstatement until September at the earliest.  And the chances of Commissioner Roger Goodell actually reinstating him too ka hit as well.  And even if he was reinstated, it's beginning to look unlikely the Dolphins would even want him back.  Here's a quote for the article:

ESPN.com is reporting that Ricky failed the test back in April. He's currently trying to be reinstated into the NFL and if Roger Goodell sticks to his current policy against brain-deads, then we have all seen the LAST of Ricky Williams.
