In the news today , we find DeAndre Jordan, a consensus top 10 2007 recruit, again waffling a bit on his commitment to Texas A&M University (TAMU).  Jordan has not just verbally committed, but he has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLOI) ... ... There's a fascinating discussion over at Kentucky blog A Sea of Blue on the ethical considerations involved in releasing recruits from NLOI's after a coaching change. This seems to come up every year, as the bidding wars for coaches and recruits increases with every passing page of the calendar. The author's conclusion is that asking to be released is an unethical move on the part of the player.
