Sogecable's Cuatro channel for Spain's 1-0 victory over Germany averaged 14.5 million viewers and an 81% share, setting "all-time records for Spanish television," according to Rolfe & Roxborough of the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. --- The last minute of the game drew more than 17.7 million viewers in Spain, an 88.6% share, marking the "most-watched minute ever in Spanish history."
German broadcaster ARD for the game drew 26 million viewers and an 80% share, falling "about 3.5 million short of the record ratings for the tournament," set by sister net ZDF during the Germany-Turkey semifinal last Wednesday (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 7/1).
TSN for its coverage of Spain-Germany averaged 1.01 million viewers in Canada, marking the most-watched Euro game ever on the net (TSN).
