Nick Evans finally has found a team to join this offseason. And while it might be less lucrative then playing winter ball in Venezuela, the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico, it is in Evans' back yard. Evans, a Phoenix native, is back in the Arizona Fall League with the Surprise Rafters. He is filling the spot of Mets farmhand Lucas Duda , who suffered a sprained right wrist the opening week of the AFL season. Duda went home.
