Fabini’s Presence on Line Indicative of Bigger Redskins Issue
Contrary to popular Redskin fan belief, Fabini was not the gaping hole on the line. Yes, the Redskins were awful at interior running in 2007, and yes, that responsibility falls on the guards and the center, of which Fabini is roughly 1/3 responsible. But a closer review of game tape shows that Fabini was no more likely to miss a block than were incumbent starters Pete Kendall or Casey Rabach.
