Rather stunning and sad news to report today: Luc Bourdon, a 21-year-old Vancouver Canucks defenseman, was killed this afternoon in a motorcycle crash in New Brunswick. His sister confirmed the tragedy to the Canadian Press. Bourdon was the 10th overall pick in the 2005 NHL Draft, when Crosby went No. 1. He had two goals in 27 games for the Canucks this season.
