Tigers acquire Chris Lambert from St. Louis Cardinals

The Detroit Tigers today announced the club has acquired right-handed pitcher Chris Lambert from the St. Louis Cardinals as the player to be named later to complete the trade on June 22 in which left-handed pitcher Mike Maroth was sent to the Cardinals. Lambert will be assigned to Triple-A Toledo.
