-- Reader Steve , you better weigh in on this column and thank me for telling you to spot start Jonathan Sanchez tonight. Five baserunners, ten Ks, one ER? Who the hell is this guy? He now has 36 Ks in 30 innings. This guy's minor league numbers look pretty damn good: 333 Ks in 252.1 innings? 3.42 ERA and 1.16 WHIP? And he's a lefty? You know what, Jonathan Sanchez may have slipped under quite ...Posted 4/21/2008 on FanHouse
BAM! will take a look at who's getting added and who's getting dropped in fantasy leagues. And whether you should follow suit. It's like a 'Three Up, Three Down' with a way cooler name. Where's the slider off the plate that ...Posted 4/20/2008 on Fantasy Hurler
I think most fantasy managers wrote Ervin off completely after last year. but he's now 4-for-4 in quality starts this season with three wins. Hell, he's looking even better now than he did in 2006, when he won 16 games. Ervin Santana: 8 IP, 3 hits, 1 ER, 0 BB, 8 K for the W.Posted 4/15/2008 on FakeTeams
Watching the Rangers/Angels game, a fantasy player can't help but look at the score in the bottom of the third inning and think, "Why is Ervin Santana so bad on the road?" I can't answer it, but I was fortunate to get my priorities straight to watch Rangers' CF Josh Hamilton. Batting third with 13 RBIs so far, one has to marvel at the fact he had not played baseball for four years ...fantasybaseball posted 4/19/2008 from fantasybaseballmacbookpro.blogspot.com
