Football Talk). It was widely believed that the Saints and Giants were close
to a deal on draft day, but Shockey, much like every other veteran who was
rumored to be traded, didn't get moved. Sean Payton is still jonesing for him.
Coach Sean Payton believes Shockey is a perfect fit for the Saints' offense, and he still desperately wants the player to be wearing a black-and-gold uniform this season.
