Final Four Previews
NCAA Women’s and Men’s Final Four Tournaments are this weekend – YAAAAY! The women are a strong bunch with Stanford, UConn, Tennessee, and LSU. The men’s tourney has UCLA, Kansas, Memphis, and North Carolina. If I was to pick the winners I would of course say that the Stanford women and UCLA men would be the victors but I’ll try to give a less biased synopsis of each team. Women  ...

Basketbabe of the Week: Vi!
basketbawful.blogspot.com 4/8/2008 — Despite what women think of us, men are interested in more than just large breasts. Many men like long legs, others fancy tight butts, and some even enjoy the sight of bare feet smushed into a banana cream pie. See? Our tastes are as diverse as the ...

2008 WNBA Draft Live BlogThe Arena
Maybe the strangest thing about women’s basketball at the highest level is that the WNBA Draft is one day after the NCAA Championship Game. (I said maybe.) Because just one other guy is doing this, and he’s not allowed to be funny, here’s your 2008 WNBA Draft live blog. With the first pick, the Los Angeles Sparks pick Candace Parker, from the University of Tennessee.  ...
Tennessee Wins The Title, But A New Fan? Not So MuchHoops Addict
I can readily admit that I am not a big women’s college basketball fan. In fact, I would go as far as to say that I treat women’s basketball, the way Tiger Woods’ fans treat a tournament he has not entered into. I may casually glance to see who won here and there, but I cannot say I am passionate about seeing who won. I watch the University of Maryland women play every now and then because ...
Can Candace vs. Candice Become Magic vs. Bird for WNBA?COSELLOUT: Still Tellin' It Like It Is
In 1979 the NBA Finals were still being broadcast on tape delay. Now think about that while we congratulate super-talented Candace Parker and the entire Tennessee Volunteer squad on their 64-48 beating of the Stanford Cardinals on a night where the biggest winner may have been the future of women’s basketball. The build-up to the game had [...]
Congratulations To Kansas And TennesseeYou Been Blinded - Now in Dazzling HD
Hats off to Kansas and Tennessee for winning the men’s and women’s college basketball national championships. The Kansas-Memphis game might be an Instant Classic, ...
US Women Take on Costa Rica for Olympic BerthWorld Cup Soccer - South Africa 2010
One more game and the US Women will be joining the men on the trip to China. All they have to do is beat Costa Rica in the semis on Wednesday and they’re qualified for the Olympics. And, of course, “all they have to do” are the five most dangerous words in sports. The odds are pretty good, though. The US women blazed through the group stage with a 6-0 win over Jamaica ...
Two More Reasons Not To WatchThe Money Shot
I just finished watching the men's title game. It was fantastic, but we'll get to that tomorrow in the Hump. I would like to say that tonight was the first time I had ever seen the One Shining Moment video package. It was just as horrible as I thought it might be. But enough about the men...the men don't matter right now. Because tonight, the women take center stage in an epic battle between ...
Stanford Ruins Women’s Tourney For Us Yet AgainSPORTSbyBROOKS
As Brooks enjoys the sights & sounds of San Antonio ( Hubert Davis ! Wimp Sanderson !), the sisters were doin’ it for themselves down in Tampa Bay on Sunday, as the women’s NCAA basketball championship is now set. Tennessee escaped against LSU with a last-second shot, while Stanford stymied Connecticut to advance to the title game. And once again, the Cardinal have ...

On CBSSportsline, "You think I'm crazy. You think I was hit in the head by Troy Polamalu. You think I'm looooosing it. Again, read carefully. No one is stating that Pat Summit's Tennessee Volunteers can beat Bruce Pearl's. They don't have the ...
