When a team is really struggling, something needs to change.  The team needs to be shaken up so that the chemistry is changed the mentality is changed; a transition needs to be made in order to find the right constitution of players.  A first base coach is certainly part of that team chemistry and therefore needs to be evaluated just like the manager.

I just don't want to see the Mets, Toronto, and Seattle continue to play poorly.  It's kind of sad, actually, and I think those teams deserve to come back a little bit.  Especially with New York, they are playing way below their level of talent.

In Monday night's 5-2 win over the Mets, Felix Hernandez accidentally hit a grand slam off none other than Johan Santana ...

D-Bag of the Week: Bronson Arroyo

Every once in awhile we need to dust off the 'ol D-Bag of the Week. As we dive into the latest entry, let's take a look back, shall we? I remember a time when Bronson Arroyo seemed like a pretty good pitcher -- mainly with the Red Sox. He used a lot of arm angles, changed speeds a lot and seemed to control a never-ending array of breaking balls. The last few years he's been plying is trade ...
