    Every time a team does poorer than expected, people start blaming others all over the place.  It's hard to say whether it's really just a problem of the group of players together, how they're being managed, or individual players themselves.

    Some teams' problems are caused by a combination of the two.  Some would say that the Mets are an example of this unfortunate circumstance.
