The first-place Pawtucket Red Sox will be sending five players to this year’s International League All-Star Game. The game will take place on July 16th in Louisville, KY and this is the first time ever that the Triple-A PawSox have had more than three All-Stars in a season. Impressive.

According to the article, Buchholz is 4-1 with a 1.63 ERA in eight starts since the Sox sent him to Pawtucket to work on his fastball. In his last four starts, he is 4-0 with a 0.40 ERA, allowing just one earned run in 22 2/3 innings. Hat tip: Rob Neyer.
