I love Rajon Rondo. As far as I’m concerned, he is the point guard of the Celtics future. But for all the things Rajon does so well, the lack of a consistent jump shot often hurts the Celtics. ... Finally, I strongly recommend this post from Red's Army, where one of the writers there breaks down the mechanics of Rajun Rondo's jumper, and why it so fundamentally flawed. It has great photos backing up it's assertion that Rondo uses too much palm on his shot, which is true in my opinion. I didn't notice it last season as I barely watched Rondo (not at all, in fact), but you can generally tell when someone has a mechanical deficiency in their jumper. Rondo's jumper is so bad I figured there had to be a reason why... this post validates my hunch. Great work.
