Calgary’s Curtis Glencross has been suspended for three games following his blindside hit to the head that knocked New York Rangers captain Chris Drury out of Saturday night’s game in Calgary.
Glencross had a disciplinary hearing with the NHL on Monday to discuss the hit which occured less than one minute into the game, and saw him catch the unsuspecting Drury with a shoulder to the head.

TSN is reporting that the Flames’ Curtis Glencross has been suspended three games for this blindside head shot to Rangers captain Chris Drury: The hit went un-penalized, although interference would have been a correct call had the officials seen it. They didn’t, which is why the matter moved to the jurisdiction of the N.H.L.
