Nothing has changed physically for Flyers defenseman Kimmo Timonen since he was hit in the left ankle by a puck in Game 4 of the Montreal series and sustained what eventually was diagnosed as a blood clot. But with doctors now telling him that the injury can't get any worse and that he has the green light to play, Timonen finds that his only obstacle to being on the ice tomorrow for Game 5 ... [link]

The Flyers got some good news last night. Following the Flyers 4-2 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Kimmo Timonen updated his injury with the media. Timonen met with his doctor earlier in the day and was cleared to skate today. There is also a good chance that Braydon Coburn could be back as well for Game 5. Getting these two back in the lineup would be huge for the Flyers.

The Stars just beat the Red Wings in Detroit in Game Five. Sounds like more reason for the Pens to end it on Sunday. You’d think that Bobby Orr and Paul Coffey were lacing them up for the Flyers in Game Five back at the Igloo. Yes, it looks like Kimmo Timonen and/or Braydon Coburn will play tomorrow. Certainly, their presence will bring an emotional lift to the Flyers.
