We need a little perspective after the Tigers started the season so poorly. Bad perspective: Only six teams have started the season 0-4 and made the playoffs since 1900. Only two have started 0-5 and made the playoffs. (via Jason Beck) Only two of the six teams won a postseason series. None won the World Series. Of the 10 teams that started the season 0-4 since 1999 (the last one to go from that record to the playoffs), nine have finished the season with a losing record. (via Danny Knobler) ...
