Quick word about college football, though we’ll have much more on Monday - why is the Gameday crew on Oregon’s stick because it beat a struggling USC team at home? This is the craziest play in football history, so you may want to check it out. That was Trinity over Millsap in a Division III game down in Mississippi, and it included not only 15 laterals but took 60 seconds from start to finish. Fist pounds to The Wizard of Odds and TBL for bringing this to our attention. (Oh, and FanHouse too. Bonus points to Trinity for having blogstar Stephanie Stradley as an alum!)

The Pacific 10 conference has some really great teams in it, and the quality of play is extremely high, arguably the highest in the nation. They now have two teams in the top 10 that were unranked at the beginning of the season. That my friend, is depth and quality.
