Good friend Lesley Visser sent along a story from the South Florida Sun Sentinel on former St. John’s coach Mike Jarvis, a leading candidate for the Florida Atlantic coaching vacancy. The Sun Sentinel has put together a well-researched piece on Jarvis and the info checks out with everything we and the NCAA know. I hope the school’s athletic director Craig Angelos, who will interview Jarvis Friday, follows his instincts and hires him. He’s the right guy for the job.
