Many of you remember the rundown of former Wizards players who are now coaches/Technical Directors/player personnel guys in MLS. Well, the KC Star took notice as well. Read our breakdown of the list from February 1 here, then read Bob Luder's take on the subject with quotes from many of the individuals here at kcstar.com. The bottom of the article has a quick bit on the signings of Pizarro (left) and Souter (right), with a couple of quotes from Souter. Here's a picture of the pair yesterday after practice.

... That knack for pressing the flesh has paid off because he's just been hired by MLS/SUM as Manager of Business Development for the league. You can say some negative things about MLS, but one thing you can't say --as the KC Star recently wrote-- is that the league forgets about it's players after their career on the field is over.
