... Now the rumors are flying fast and furious that Billy Gillespie will replace Heath as head coach, with an announcement coming as soon as tomorrow. Fox Sports' Jeff Goodman reports that sources have told him Gillespie has agreed to a deal in principle and could be introduced Tuesday afternoon.

... Surely, Gillispie won't leave for Arkansas? Does anyone really think that this is a step-up? I know that A&M doesn't have the history that Arkansas has, but Clyde's got a really sweet deal at A&M, a new arena, and an increasing fan base. Not to mention, I think that A&M will pay him as much money as he can stuff in his pockets. I think I'm too much of a Big 12 homer to realize that there are actually better jobs in the nation.

The original article said that an announcement was imminent late monday, it was then changed to say an announcement was expected Tuesday, now the article makes no mention of a time table or announcement, and instead has a quote from Aggie basketball recruit B.J. Holmes,
