On the front page of MSN's home page — not the sports page, the home page — the #2 headline is, MLB trade rumors: M's enter Santana race? Wherein Ken Rosenthal (the best in the biz right now) devotes half a page to the M's and Santana. Rosenthal offers this intriguing nugget: The Mariners, rival executives say , are intent on making a splash and acquiring a big-name starting pitcher, with Orioles lefty Erik Bedard another potential target.
