Rhode Island led by one at half time, 34-33. During the second half, Rhode Island out-shot Duke from field goal range, 59.3 percent (16/27) to 58.6 percent 17/29). They out shot Duke from three-point range in the second half 77.8 percent (7/9) to 20.0 percent (2/10), and they also out shot them from the free throw line 100 percent (6/6) to 81.3 percent (13/16).
