In the future leading up to the book's release, there will be more previews, some other media surprises, and the long-rumored Silverbird Stats Corner. Anyway, feel free to turn this into an open thread about whatever, and we'll be around soon with a new post. Hopefully, this other site will tide you over, and maybe even convince a few more people to buy the book itself. Labels: ...

... to do with this post or my effusive praise.) I saw an electronic version of the book in one of its later iterations, and it is really a wonderful accomplishment. Loaded with gorgeous illustrations and the signature FD writing style, Macrophenomenal is a must-have for any real NBA fan. And for any fan of literary writing. Go to the book website and poke around. There are excerpts, widgets, bios, reviews, wallpapers, and even t-shirts (!). Oh, and of course, BUY THE BOOK. Happy New Year, everyone. The NBA is back. ... enough yet. So listen! -For whatever reason, the book is temporarily no longer available on Amazon. But there are other options! ( UPDATE : Appears to be back.) Last night was about as rad an evening of basketball as I could mortally hope for. Despite the endless vistas opened up by League Pass, I still try to stick to one game, beginning to end, and usually only one per night. On today’s show, Tas and I look at the game of the night — Celtics and Raptors. Where was Chris Bosh down the stretch? Did the C’s pressure D throw Toronto off its game? Did that wild home court crowd sway the officials? We also discuss the Lakers early pursuit of history, Gerald Wallace trade rumors, and an NBA rap for our NBA 2K9 giveaway (see all the video submissions here). And oh! Buy the Free Darko book. Trust me.

Though KD did have quite a game last night, a effortlesly inflamed as ever). BUY THE BOOK!!!! Labels: ...
