What can you say about Jon Lester? Two years ago he was diagnosed with cancer and we hoped he would get healthy and pitch. He comes back last season and in his debut dominated Cleveland as his parents watched from the stands. [link]

Lester Throws No-Hitter

On August 27th, 2006 Boston Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester was scratched from his start against the Oakland A’s. Just 5 days later, it was announced he had cancer and would be out for the rest of the season. Just three months later, it was announced that Lester was cancer-free.
