There are lots of names that appear in the 409 page Mitchell Report. Thanks to the good folks at adobe acrobat, the pdf file allows one to do word searches. Here is what we’ve found: None of the names listed in my previous column on suspected performance-enhancing drug users were included in the report. A search for Barry Bonds has 91 results. Come on people, you think a guy that didnt play a minute of professional baseball from 1920 to 1989 could really come back and play that well? I bet you are the same folks that came crawling back to MLB when Roid Brothers Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire were sending baseballs into the stratosphere, then hugging semi-homoish after McGwire broke the record.

Let me get this straight…you spent a lot of time and money to find out if people, adults, playing in Major League Baseball, which is not a branch of the federal government, are using steroids? Really? Only for us to find out that a bunch of randoms + Andy Pettite+Gary Sheffield+Barry Bonds+a lot of other people we already knew were using steroids have…in fact…used steroids...
