It is about an hour from the game between Georgia Tech and the North Carolina. In this game where loser is basically out for any shot at winning the division, there is plenty of things I am thinking about. So, it is time for the "Last Thoughts" right here on "The Fifth Corner".

I had said that the game between 19th
ranked North Carolina and 22nd Georgia Tech would end...
31 to 21. Well, the Tar Heels scored about that, 28 to be exact, but the Yellow Jackets were nowhere close to 21, as they could only muster one touchdown drive, and ended the game with just 7 points.

While North Carolina didn't play this weekend, none
the less, the end results for the Tar Heels...
in the AP and ESPN/USA Today polls were favorable ones. UNC moved up in each of the polls this week, and stand as the 19th ranked squad in both of them.

I think I have said this about most
every games for UNC this year, but the match...
up between 19th ranked North Carolina (6-2, 2-2 in the ACC) and Georgia Tech (7-2, 4-2 in the ACC) might just be the most important game for the Heels this season.
