The Brewers reliever bought 5,000 tickets to tonight's game to give away to fans. Which raises the question: Was this game not a sellout and he just bought them recently? Or did he buy up 5,000 a long time ago with plans to do this, creating an artificial shortage? I'm guessing the former, as there were only 31,164 at last night's game (for a CC Sabathia start). Combine that with his $200,000 donation to Brewer charities and now he's only making about $9 million more than he's worth this season.
