Galaxy, Chivas split points in final SuperClasico of '08

Chivas USA came within moments of getting their first Superclasico win of the season before an injury-time strike by Alan Gordon gave the Los Angeles Galaxy the draw they needed to wrap up city bragging rights for the 2008 regular season. Chivas players felt they deserved the win. “It hurts because I don’t like to tie or lose to this team,” said Panchito Mendoza. “I feel we played better football than them today.”
