The Red Wings' series clinching victory over the Penguins last night drew 6.8 million viewers on NBC, the most ever for an NHL telecast on the network, and the most for an NHL game since 7.2 million viewers tuned into Game 7 of the Devils/Mighty Ducks series in 2003.
