Tonight is the third of four games between the Detroit Red Wings and the Colorado Avalanche. The Wings lead the series 2-0 with wins December 27 ( 4-2 ) and January 8th ( 1-0 ). The final game will be played on February 18th in Denver. The Avalanche are 5-3-1 since losing to the Wings on the 8th.
