Garrett Clarke Signed

I got word this morning that the Lewiston Maineiacs have signed 15 year old Garrett Clarke their top choice (6th overall) of the 2008 QMJHL Midget Draft. The 5′11 and 175lbs defenseman was highly touted but teams were scared off because he made a verbal commitment to North Dakota this past winter. He was the Fighting Sioux’s youngest commitment ever.
